See this is one of the many reasons I want to meet you one day. When I was reading this all I heard was God talking! Although he obviously doesn’t use words or language to communicate when you actually do talk to Him but He would have said this! I’m just glad that I haven’t had to cut my hand open and show it to people to make the exact point you just made. Considering He knows I faint at the sight of my own blood I’m glad I haven’t had to do that yet. He bled out for us and that’s how we know what Love looks like. Society teaches the opposite of His example at death. People say that “No one will help you, no one cares” I would go on but I have very deep examples from my own past that I’d rather forget. If you don’t know Love then you don’t know God. If you don’t have empathy instead of only sympathy then you don’t know Love either. Fear and hatred are the biggest things standing in the way of Love. Hatred is usually and may all be fulled by fear. To stop being afraid we have to admit that we don’t understand and learn trust. If you fear what you don’t understand then you can’t fully trust and trust is a large part of faith. To Love we have to see other people the same way that God sees them.
