The song went viral in England and then around the world. He was asked to go on TV shows for interviews to answer one simple question….

“What is this song about?”

Originally, people thought it was his suicide note. They felt that with the depressing tone and lyrics, he needed psychological intervention.

He was interviewed on shows and the meaning behind the song is:

“I am moving from Birmingham to Edinburgh.”

That is it! LOL! I guess he wanted to say bye to the haters in Birmingham before he moved to Edinburgh.

Wow. Thanks Chris. That was my first time hearing (or watching) D4NNY. Definitely a contrast to Tambourine Guy. Now I feel depressed.

I see his music is available on iTunes – and his reviews are good.
