VCC was a great church to grow up in Sue. I have so many wonderful memories!

Angela, Do you remember back when we had the No Hat policy at VCC? Well, when Pastor Bill Risinger joined our staff, and one of our youth mentioned it to him, his response was, "What, Jesus can't hear me thru my hat?" Thankfully, it wasn't long before that rule died a quick death..

Now, I confess, my old lady heart DOES have issues with some of the clothing we see at church today. I do think we need to honor God with our dress. Certainly not gloves and stockings -- Yikes! But i do prefer to see folks in clothes that cover the midriff. upper thighs, and backside.

However, Pastor Bill's comment has stayed with me. Can't Jesus hear me if i'm wearing slippers in church?
